Beulah Ridge Willy was born December 15, 2003.The first four years of his life he hunted wild birds and guided hunts at local hunt clubs. In 2007, Bill joined the BDC and Willy ran in several events at K and L Kennel. His first Super Major was the 2008 Invitational at K Bar C in Iowa. Thirty-nine of the best dogs in the country ran in this event. When the snow had settled Willy had placed 5th. Three of the four dogs who beat him are already in the BDC Hall of Fame: they include 1st Gauge, 3rd Reggie and 4th Streak. A partial list of what Willy accomplished include: 4 Super major and 8 Major titles, 5 consecutive zone 1 Dog of the year, twice runner up national dog of the year, five finals appearances in singles and doubles at Worlds and BDC Legendary Champion. Other accomplishments include 2x NUCS, UFTA, BHU AND DOGS Champion. He was inducted into the DOGS Hall of Fame in September 2016. Willy has sired over fifty puppies throughout his career. Most notable include Brewster 2013 BDC Dog of the Year, Casper 2014,15 and 16 Zone 1 Dog of the year and Legendary champion, and Hillbilly Gold status BDC champion. Even though he is retired he still does what his major goal in life has always been to take care of Bill. Maybe his greatest accomplishment was to mentor Beulah Ridge Jake.
