Every competitive upland hunter starts out in the game with high expectations for success, usually with a new dog that shows big potential!
For Terri Steinbach it was her white/black ticked Llewellin Setter, “Abby”, that would make her a proud dog owner in the game.
Abby did well in the sport for over a decade in the 2000s running with a tough group of future Legends in Reggie, Gauge, Jackhammer, Raz, Kleine, and Sheba. She would show she could find birds fast by producing “bird after bird” for handler Craig Steinbach to shoot, and she did this with style and grace.
Winning 3 Super Majors and a BDC National Championship Title, Abby also made Top 5s in 9 Super Major competitions. She was a super retriever as well with a high held stylish point! She brought a great nose to the game with incredible speed and gave her owner, Terri Steinbach, some very special memories.
“Little Creek Abby” enters the BDC Hall of Fame a Legendary Status Champion, earning 524 Lifetime Champion Points; Championed 26X with 3 Super Major Championships, and 1 BDC National Championship Title.
She was a special dog and will forever be remembered.
