My tournament career began in 2013 in the Youth Division at the BDC Nationals in Tekamah, Nebraska, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I was fortunate to have my dad, Bernie—himself a legend of the game—as both my mentor and coach. Under his guidance, I’ve enjoyed great success in the field with our dogs, earning national titles, world titles, and other super major wins along the way.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to compete in all of the major upland bird dog associations, but the BDC has always stood out as the greatest. I love the competitiveness, the format, and the camaraderie.
