2007 Inductee – No River’s Gunner

240 BDC Points
2 SM Wins
12x Champion Gold Status Champion

July 2007 was a sad and emotional month for Tim Brewster, in that, it was the last summer he would spend with his beautiful English Pointer, Gunner.

His 1st competitive upland win came in 1987 at the US Open Pheasant Championship. Ten years later, and earlier this past spring, they competed at the US Open Pheasant Championship where he had his last competitive upland hunt. It was the last event they would compete in, and they won. The result was a fitting end to a tremendous career. Gunner was over 12 years old.

For every Bird Dog Challenge event we enter, we take with us memories in the field, and we form special relationships with our dogs. Gunner was a tremendous bird dog, he had a fantastic nose, and gave 100% on every run.

No River’s Gunner was a special dog. He was the son of “BDC Hall of Fame” Snake Creek Three Spot, and enters the “BDC Hall of Fame” as a Gold Status Champion, with 240 points, he’s a 12x Champion, won 2 Super Majors, and will forever be remembered.
